I just went through 100 years worth of toaster history. Fascinating. Apparently the act of toasting bread (so it kept longer) dates all the way back to Roman times.

Another one of my favorites... A comparison of advertising vs. the real product. Even deeper beauty of this one is it doesn't matter what country the food is from, the consumer always seems to get the shaft.
