Outback Steakhouse Marinade

1 C. Scottish ale (A good list of ratings here)
1 tsp. Brown sugar
1/2 tsp. McCormick seasonings
1/4 tsp. Ground black pepper
1/4 tsp. MSG
Place your favorite cut of steak (I like Porterhouse cuts for this recipe) in a shallow pan or glass dish and pour the ale on steak and marinate for 1 hour in the refrigerator. Remove steak from ale and mix remaining dry ingredients together and rub into your steaks well on both sides. Let marinate with dry ingredients for 1/2 hour to 1 hour. Preheat grill to medium high heat.
Remove steak from refrigerator for 15 minutes to reach closer to room temperature before grilling.
Add vegetable spray or vegetable oil and cook to desired doneness.
