I'm about to try to roast my own coffee beans this weekend for the first time. Who knows how it will work. Interestingly, it's much cheaper to buy unroasted, green beans. Here's one of many places you can order by mail and where I got my first bags of green coffee beans. Seven Bridges Cooperative
